As lead graphic designer I personally oversee all creative operations dealing with motion graphics, 3D animation, logo design, identity and marketing, website creation, product photography, and any post-production work. I've been designing since I was a teenager, working with a variety of high-profile clients in Indiana and New York City. Some of my clients include Indiana Black Expo (the country's largest minority cultural event), MTV2, and worldwide production company Globalvision.
In order to deliver the highest-quality work possible, I'm well-versed in a variety of professional graphics, animation, and music production software. I have been exposed to many different types of people and excel in diverse environments.
I was recruited to this work-for-hire position in December 2007 and subsequently was groomed to become the new lead designer for the web team. Most of the work we did relied heavily on our own custom-written server framework, based on .Net. My main responsibilities were creation and maintenance of sites for chambers of commerce around the country. Upon completion of my 3-month contract I turned down a permanent position in hopes of finding a more creative job.
At Globalvision I was responsible for DVD authoring and design, special effects for documentary films, video compositing, editing, color correction, and logo design. My work premiered in New York and Los Angeles, and received air-time in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
I was recruited into IBE's Youth Video Institute, a non-for-profit program for high school students interested in pursuing media careers. At a relatively young age I was diving into 3D animation at home and my skills were noticed by an existing program member. By the age of 17 I was producing still and motion graphics for nationally televised commercials for IBE's events. Within the next few years I would go on to lead graphic design at IBE's television studio in downtown Indianapolis, and producing a biweekly, 30-minute television show for MTV2, 360 Degrees.
